The China Embassy
provides Chinese nationals and U.S. citizens or foreign nationals
residing in the U.S. with passport and visa services. The China
Embassy no longer allows applications to be lodged by mail. All
applications must be provided to the China Embassy either via a
third party China visa expediting firm (China
Visa Service) or in person at the China Embassy in Washington,
DC or at the China Consulate office residing over the jurisdiction

To obtain China visas through the China Embassy in Washington, DC
or any of the China Consulate offices located throughout the country,
applicants are encouraged to process visa documents through a China
visa processing company. These companies work with the China Embassy
frequently and can provide you the best possible service.

The China Embassy in Washington, DC may only assist travelers in
person. The China Embassy will not accept applications by mail and
no return mail service is available from the Embassy. For addition
